Medical practice cleaning in Munich
In medical practices, care, established routines and a considered approach to hygiene-relevant areas are what count. MilieuLux agrees cleaning times and scope clearly with you. Specialist medical disinfection or tasks subject to particular legal regulation are only undertaken where qualification and procedure demonstrably fit.
Medical practice cleaning is therefore not office cleaning under another name. A practice consists of areas with very different requirements. The waiting area is a public space with high contact density on door handles, chairs and counters. Treatment rooms demand care on defined surfaces and an agreed approach to equipment that must not be moved. Ancillary rooms, the staff kitchen and washrooms follow their own rules again. A single uniform plan does justice to none of them.
The starting point is therefore the question of responsibility: which surfaces does the practice team handle, and which do we? In many practices the reprocessing of instruments and defined treatment surfaces deliberately stays with the staff, while floors, contact surfaces, washrooms and the waiting area are cleaned externally. This boundary is put in writing before the first appointment takes place.

What matters here
What we do not cover
Part of that boundary is what we do not take on. Specialist medical disinfection under particularly regulated procedures, the disposal of hazardous medical waste and anything requiring a qualification we do not hold are not part of our offer. We say so in advance rather than improvising in case of doubt.
A fixed appointment time
Our timing follows your consultation hours. Cleaning after the last appointment is the norm, because nobody is disturbed and surfaces are clear. In practices with continuous hours, early-morning off-peak slots are an option. What matters is a fixed time rather than a time window: practice teams plan their day tightly, and a vague appointment causes more work than it saves.
Why the same people come
Discretion in a practice is not a courtesy but a precondition – and it is not created on the day. Anyone working for us in a practice knows what that means before the first appointment and is not moved across from another job at short notice. That is why we never schedule a practice as a gap-filler.
The reason is not habit but the briefing: in a practice, almost every room carries a rule of its own – which area is free when, which surface takes only one particular product, which door stays locked. Every new person means those rules are explained again, and every explanation is an opportunity to leave one of them out.
Waiting area and floors
The waiting area deserves a closer look, because it is the one part of the practice that patients consciously take in. Seat surfaces and armrests, the counter, door handles, light switches and the area around dispensers are the points with the highest contact density. Magazines, play corners and coat racks are special cases we discuss beforehand: what may be tidied away and what stays put is the practice’s decision, not ours.
Floors in practices are usually built for cleaning – vinyl, linoleum or tiles with coved skirting. That is exactly why dosage and mopping technique matter: too much product leaves a film that looks dirty again sooner, too little moisture loosens nothing. Thresholds, corners and the area beneath treatment chairs take more time than open floor, and are therefore named separately in the plan.
The plan and its adjustment
Practice cleaning is easier to plan than many other contracts, because consultation hours and room use are fixed. We make use of that: the service plan records, room by room, what happens at every appointment and what happens at longer intervals. Windows, internal glazing, radiators and lampshades typically run on their own cycle, so that they are not left unattended for years but do not take up time every week either.
When a practice grows, a room is given a new use or an additional piece of equipment arrives, the workload changes. We raise that ourselves rather than letting the old plan run on. Billing is based on hours actually worked – if an appointment is regularly shorter or longer, we say so and adjust.
Cloths, products, hygiene plan
The working materials themselves belong in the arrangement as well. We work with separate cloths and mop covers for each area, so that nothing travels from the washrooms into a treatment room. Which products are used is agreed against your hygiene plan; where your practice specifies its own products, we use those. What we will not do is apply a product whose suitability for the surface we cannot judge – in that case we ask first.
The first appointment
We deliberately allow more time for the first appointment. We walk through the rooms together, record access and key arrangements, note responsibilities and settle open points. That hour costs something once, but it prevents the usual friction of the early weeks: unclear doors, unexpected equipment, no agreement on waste. After that the contract normally runs without further queries.

What a working hour means

Frequently asked questions
Can you clean outside consultation hours?
Yes. Time slots are agreed so that practice routines and patient traffic are not disrupted.
How are sensitive areas handled?
Before we start, we define which rooms are accessible, which surfaces are cleaned when, and what the practice team handles itself.
Are your staff trained?
Our staff are trained in hygiene, cleaning, use of materials and reliable working procedures.
Do you carry out surface disinfection according to a hygiene plan?
We carry out hygiene-conscious cleaning with suitable products. Whether a task from your hygiene plan falls under that, or requires a specially regulated disinfection procedure with proof of qualification, we clarify beforehand against your specific plan – not in general terms.
Do the cleaning staff change frequently?
For practice contracts we deploy the same people wherever possible. Any change is announced in advance so that briefing and access arrangements are settled before someone new arrives.
What happens to documents and screens?
Nothing. Documents are not moved, not sorted and not read. Screens stay untouched. Locked rooms stay locked.
