Cleaning in Aubing, Lochhausen and Langwied
District 22 is Munich’s largest by area and among the least densely built. Three old village centres with fields, railway land and family-house areas between them – and in the west, Freiham, an entirely new quarter still growing. The work varies accordingly: from cleaning a terraced house to cleaning after a fit-out.
In the family-house areas we clean a whole house, not one floor. Because building went on here across decades, no two houses are alike: a 1960s bungalow with everything on one level, or a recent build with three storeys and a cellar. On the first visit we walk it together and record what happens every time and what happens less often.
Windows are a large item here, simply because a house has many. We count them beforehand so the time estimate holds, and we say which ones we leave out: anything that would need a ladder above head height we do not do. Better settled before the job than on the day.
How the district grew
Aubing, Lochhausen and Langwied were three independent villages west of Munich, surrounded by fields. Their old centres with a church and low houses are still recognisable.
The railway brought the first big change. A large repair works was built in Neuaubing, and housing went up for the workforce. Family-house areas followed later, of the kind typical at a city’s edge.
The second big change is happening now. In the west, Freiham is being built as an entirely new quarter: flats, schools, shops and offices on former fields. There, building, moving in and building on all happen at once — with everything that means for cleaning.

What is different here
After the last trade
With a builders' clean the timing decides it: we come once the last tradesman has gone, not in between. Fine dust keeps settling for days, and anyone who has cleaning done between two trades pays for the same pass twice.
What we do not do on building projects: remove rubble, take away packaging, work on a live site between trades, or carry out repairs. We are there for the cleaning, not the site logistics – and that is better said in advance, so nobody waits for it.
Limits and distances
With garden work the limit comes early: felling trees, work on the façade and winter clearing are not included. On the edge of the city all three are regularly asked for — and for all three we would rather say no in advance than take them on by halves.
District 22 is the largest in Munich by area, and between Aubing, Lochhausen and Langwied there are fields rather than rows of streets. Two addresses in one morning can therefore be twenty driving minutes apart – within the same district. We plan the order by the route, not by the order in which enquiries came in.

Questions from this district
When should post-construction cleaning happen?
When the last trade has finished – not before. Cleaning too early means paying twice, because the next step raises dust again. We agree the date with you and the site management.
Do you also remove building rubble?
No. We clean. Rubble, packaging and site logistics are not part of our offer – that has to be done before our visit.
Do you come to Lochhausen and Langwied too?
Yes, to all three. Because the district is large, with several addresses we tell you in advance whether it fits into one day – travel costs then arise only once.
What does a visit in district 22 cost?
By time: €25 per person and working hour, garden work €30. Plus €18 travel costs once per working day and job. A site visit with no job following costs €40. No VAT is charged, in accordance with § 19 of the German VAT Act.
