Event cleaning in Munich
Event cleaning in Munich is work against the clock. What drives the effort is not floor area but the deadline: the hours before doors open, the turnaround between two parts of the programme, or the night after the last guest leaves. So we plan backwards from the moment the venue has to be handed back, and only then decide how many people arrive at once.
To plan properly we need four times: when the last guest leaves, when the caterer has dismantled bar and refrigeration, when technical kit and furniture are out, and when the venue has to be handed back. As long as stage, seating or a cold trailer are still in place, the floor is not clear – anything cleaned before that gets cleaned twice. If the get-out slips by an hour, our window slips with it.
Event waste is a problem of volume, not weight. Cups, bottles, napkins and packaging often fill the venue bins by halfway through the evening. We collect glass, light packaging, paper and residual waste separately and set deposit-return items aside. How many bins are genuinely available and who empties them belongs in the conversation before the date – otherwise the neatly sorted waste ends up standing in the yard.

What matters here
Shards and sticky floors
Broken glass comes before everything else. Shards are picked up mechanically first; mopping straight away drags them into joints, under staging and into the edges of the dance floor. On carpet we vacuum repeatedly from changing directions, because fragments stand upright between the fibres. Areas later used without shoes deserve particular attention, as does the floor beneath standing tables.
Sticky floors come from sugar and alcohol. Plain water merely spreads the film, and the surface keeps pulling at people’s soles. What it takes is an alkaline cleaner with dwell time and a second pass. Sealed parquet on dance floors tolerates little moisture, candle wax is lifted cold rather than dissolved, and damp confetti stains pale flooring if it lies there overnight.
During and afterwards
During an event, looking after the washrooms is not cleaning but a rhythm: rounds every 30 to 60 minutes, depending on guest numbers and how much is being poured. The bottlenecks are paper, soap and bin capacity, along with wet floors in front of the basins. How much consumable stock is ready for the evening shapes the impression more than the final pass does – we tell you a realistic quantity in advance.
The handover to the caterer has to be settled before the date: crockery, glassware, bar and refrigeration stay with them; surfaces, floors and waste are ours. Equally important is the final-cleaning clause in the venue contract, because "broom clean" and "ready for handback" mean different numbers of hours. Access, goods lift and a water point are clarified in the same conversation.

What a working hour means
Billing is per person on site and per hour worked. Two people working three hours makes six working hours.

Frequently asked questions
How many people do you send to an event?
It follows from the time window. If only an hour remains between get-out and handback, several people work in parallel; if a whole morning is available, a smaller crew is enough. Give us guest numbers, floor area and the finishing time and we will work it out.
What does cleaning after an event cost?
We bill the hours actually worked at €25 per person and working hour. Travel costs of €18 apply per working day and per job, not per person – so a crew of four pays them once. No VAT is charged, in accordance with § 19 of the German VAT Act. A set-up day and the event evening count as two working days. No minimum order value applies.
Can we book you during the event as well?
Yes. The usual arrangement is rounds at a set frequency covering washrooms, waste and broken glass, while the rest of the room stays untouched. The crew is agreed beforehand so that nobody has to be called in mid-evening.
Is it worth viewing the venue in advance?
For larger spaces, yes. We look at floor types, the location and size of the waste containers, vehicle access, the goods lift and the number of washroom units. If the job follows, the visit is part of it; booked on its own it costs €40 as a flat fee.
Who disposes of the waste once the bins are full?
We sort it and set it out; collection runs through the venue or a disposal firm you appoint. Guest numbers and the drinks concept allow the volume to be estimated well in advance – we do that sum when you enquire, not in the yard at night.
